Oh come let us adore Him!

Advento chegou! Esses dias de dezembro que antecedem o Natal nos preparam para o nascimento do Salvador Jesus. Cada dia que acordo, tomo o propósito de ter um tempo de solitude (quiet time) com Deus, só para estar na presença dEle e agradecer pelo presente de amor que é Jesus Cristo.

Que possamos parar, que tentemos deixar a correria do final de ano de lado para aproveitar da renovadora presença de Cristo.

Já passava das doze horas e nos preparávamos para erguer nossas taças para brindar junto aos noivos. O noivo que irradiava felicidade, ainda mais do que isso, alegria genuína, pega o microfone para discursar ao seus convidados: jovens, poucas crianças, adultos de quarenta, cinquenta e sessenta anos de idade.
Com um sorriso e com a seriedade de alguém que chegou a realização começa a conversar conosco: “Eu tenho uma prova de que Deus existe e quero provar isso a vocês. Eu sempre fui um cara rodeado de amigos, de pessoas a minha volta. Costumava ir as festas, sair todos os finais de semana a noite. Contudo, aquilo não supria meu vazio. Um dia, eu parei tudo e falei para Jesus: Jesus, estou cansado de tanta festa, estou cansado da noite. Me dá uma companheira, uma mulher para caminhar comigo. Deus escuta as nossas preces, Ele escuta as tuas preces, Ele me deu a Flavia que é o melhor presente que eu poderia ganhar e sei que Ele existe. Cheguem a Ele em oração”. Eu que já estava feliz com a alegria do casal, com a beleza dos arranjos em tom de rosa e branco senti Deus falando profundamente no meio daquela festa. O Gustavo compartilhou de Jesus para com seus convidados. Foi algo simples, foi uma oferta agradável. Da mesma forma eu quero viver cada dia como um testemunho. Que Deus nos ajude no falar e no fazer. Que Ele conduza o nosso viver.

A felicidade realmente está nas pequenas coisas.

We're better when we are together
Last weekend, September 20th, I had an amazing time with my family members. God kindly gave us a beautiful day to enjoy ourselves.

I could meet my dearest cousin | super Débora | and Mônica, Bianca, Davi, Andrei and a bunch of nice people.

Second week. I am back home :D, glad to be able to chat with my folks, spend time with my family,see friends and enjoy Satolep.

It's been kind of difficult. It's been weird in a way.

Guys, you live in my heart. I thank God for our friendship and for the goog time we had together. May God bless you all. May God bless us.

I guess it's going to be a nice year. And I need to spend time with God preparing myself for what's coming. Bring it on.

A week in Estonia - First stop: Pilistvere

God prepared a fantastic week for the group of people who went to Estonia | French, Norwegians, Estonians and Brazilians | 6 days of sun shinning, 6 days of deep relationship with Jesus, 6 days to make new friends, 6 days to enjoy Estonia, 6 days to eat potatoes.

As some of my friends would say: GREAT SUCCESS!

During half-term I had the opportunity to work with my team members at St. Stephens. I had such a great time with a group of kids who learned about God, The Lord of the time.

Last week I talked with a friend that wears green clothes and is a gardener.
He told me about 'companion planting' and how different crops are planted together because they help each other grow better.

If you plant carrots and leeks together they protect each other against a number of pests. Leeks repelo carrot fly and carrots repel onion and leek moth.

This means the nasty insects stay away and the carrots and leeks both grow big and strong and lovely.

Clever gardeners.

We do life better when we grow together.

I haven't written a line for ages...
At this time of the year We (me & Maria)are completely, 95% busy. We have had concerts in church, workshops, special services and special meals with people we Love.

However, it's important to bear in our minds we nees time to just be quiet and listen to our God's voice. So all I want for Christmas is the PEACE that comes from the Holy Spirit.
